A Falcon 1 does it at last I saw in the news today that after three attempts that didn't quite make it, a privately financed "Falcon 1" rocket has finally gone into orbit. I admit that I'm personally not quite certain these sorts of ventures are the solution to everything as some people seem happy to claim, but after working through three launches unsuccessful to one degree or another, I'm sure the people at "SpaceX" are feeling a great deal of satisfaction.
